I purchased this unit last Christmas as a gift for my wife (actually for me…we’re both coffee freaks!). This was on the heels of our Starbucks burr grinder biting the dust after having the shove dark roasted oily beans through it with a stick for 18 months. It could never grind the beans correctly. After studying the design carefully (yes, I am a geek engineer) I went shopping for one that had a larger feed throat and feed mechanism. Having reviewed several models in the same price range, I chose the Capresso and have been more than satisfied since. No matter how many beans I have loaded in the bin, the Capresso Infinity has ground them perfectly without jamming or clogging up in the slightest. The fines (papery flakes produced from the grinding process. They produce bittnerness in the espresso) are much less than with the Starbucks burr grinder as well. I highly recommend this machine.

My husband and I have been buying whole coffee beans for over 10 years. This Capresso burr grinder is the best we have used. I researched other users’ comments before purchasing. Yes, one does need to read the directions before use. Yes, it is very easy to set up. Yes, the burrs need to be cleaned occasionally with the provided brush; however, it is quite easy and fast to do so. Bottom line is that you will enjoy your coffee more than you ever have before!
